Description

Manage and maintain Oracle database environments, architectures, and high-availability configurations.

You will own the full lifecycle of Oracle database administration, from installation and patching to performance tuning and disaster recovery. You will ensure system stability through proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and security management.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, patch, and configure Oracle software and databases.
• Manage RAC configurations, including hardware/software components and process relocation.
• Execute backup and recovery operations using RMAN and logical strategies like Data Pump.
• Configure and troubleshoot Data Guard and GoldenGate environments.
• Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and space management.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience.
• Deep understanding of Oracle architecture and logical/physical database configurations.
• Hands-on experience with RAC management and configuration.
• Proficiency in Data Guard and GoldenGate configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with storage management including ASM and Raw devices.
• Expertise in RMAN backup and restore procedures.
• Ability to write Shell Scripting for automation.
• Experience with OEM installation and monitoring.
• Knowledge of schema management and report generation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with capacity planning and storage management.
