Description

You will manage and maintain Oracle database infrastructure within AWS Cloud environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, alert, and automate database operations using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
• Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies, including RMAN.
• Tune, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL and PL/SQL queries for performance.
• Manage database security, user access, and auditing policies.
• Support high availability and disaster recovery solutions like Oracle Data Guard and Multi-AZ RDS.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in production environments.
• Strong experience managing Oracle databases on AWS Cloud (EC2 or RDS).
• Expertise in Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
• Deep knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning.
• Experience with RMAN, database patching, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with AWS-native tools (CloudWatch, IAM, S3).
• Understanding of database security, encryption, and compliance.
• Proficiency with Bash scripting and Linux shell scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Terraform/Cloudformation.
