Description

You will manage and execute complex Oracle database migrations across on-premises, Linux, AIX, and cloud environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead Oracle database migrations, including upgrades and transitions to OCI or Azure.
• Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software, managing data transfers using Data Pump, RMAN, and Data Guard.
• Optimize database performance through proactive tuning and ensure high availability via disaster recovery planning.
• Implement data security measures, including access controls and encryption methods.
• Collaborate with developers and system administrators to support application requirements and resolve incidents.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in a production environment.
• Proficiency with Oracle Data Guard, RMAN, ASM, OEM, and PL/SQL.
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Working knowledge of AIX and Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency in shell scripting.
• Understanding of Oracle database architecture and data integrity management.
• Ability to manage end-to-end migration projects.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or Azure.
• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) certifications.
