Description

Design, install, and maintain enterprise production Oracle databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze performance metrics to implement improvements for database efficiency and stability.
• Execute installation, migration, patching, and disaster recovery procedures for Oracle databases.
• Implement and test high availability solutions, including clustering and replication technologies.
• Manage backup and restore procedures using RMAN and conduct capacity planning.
• Perform database security management, including user provisioning, auditing, and compliance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting Oracle databases (versions 12.1 through 19c).
• Proficiency with Oracle RAC, ExaData, ExaCC, and ExaCS environments.
• Experience with Oracle OEM for monitoring and diagnostics.
• Strong expertise in performance tuning and capacity planning.
• Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, Shell, and PowerShell.
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
