Description

You will manage and maintain Oracle database infrastructure across critical areas, ensuring high availability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backup and recovery strategies using RMAN, including restores and point-in-time recovery.
• Install, configure, and administer Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), monitoring cluster performance and troubleshooting issues.
• Configure and maintain Oracle Data Guard environments (Physical & Logical Standby), managing replication and performing role transitions.
• Monitor database performance proactively by tuning SQL, analyzing execution plans, and optimizing indexing and memory structures.
• Install, upgrade, and patch databases, manage security, and support development teams with database design and code optimization.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA.
• Strong expertise in RMAN Backup & Recovery and Oracle Data Guard (Standby databases).
• Proven experience administering Oracle RAC environments.
• Demonstrable proficiency in Performance tuning and SQL optimization.
• Strong knowledge of PL/SQL and SQL.
• Experience operating within Unix/Linux environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot critical production issues.
