Description

You will manage and maintain large-scale Oracle database environments, implementing OLTP and OLAP systems in critical production settings.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute proactive and reactive performance analysis, monitoring, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis of database issues.
• Perform database upgrades, host migrations, and resource planning by breaking down high-level specifications into sub-tasks.
• Support day-to-day business operations through expert database administration and maintenance.
• Apply DevOps practices using CI/CD tools and configuration management in a GitOps environment.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience managing Oracle Databases (versions 19c & 23ai).
• Hands-on experience in Oracle Database Performance Tuning.
• Solid experience with Oracle Multitenant, Oracle RAC, Oracle Data Guard, RMAN, Oracle Partitioning, and Oracle Data Pump.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, Github, or Gitlab) including branching and pull request workflows.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Salt, Chef, or Powershell DSC.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Oracle Internet Directory and OEM Cloud Control.
