Description

Manage Oracle database infrastructure across Linux, Unix, and Windows environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle databases (11g, 12c, 19c), applying PSU/CPU patches for compliance.
• Implement Oracle Data Guard for disaster recovery and Oracle RAC for high availability.
• Perform database backup and recovery using RMAN and Data Pump.
• Monitor performance, optimize queries, indexes, and storage, and analyze AWR reports via SQL tuning.
• Troubleshoot database issues, provide root cause analysis, and support migrations or version upgrades.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Oracle 11g, 12c, and 19c administration.
• Proficiency in Shell scripting for automation and Linux/Unix OS basics.
• Expertise in RAC and Data Guard configuration and management.
• Hands-on experience with RMAN and Data Pump for backup and recovery.
• Ability to perform SQL tuning and optimizer strategy analysis.
• Experience with user access management, roles, privileges, and encryption.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or AWS RDS for Oracle.
• PL/SQL development skills.
