Description

You will manage and optimize Oracle and Cassandra databases for mission-critical applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
• Analyze execution plans and apply indexing strategies, partitioning, and bulk operations to tune performance.
• Troubleshoot SQL performance issues and resolve complex database problems.
• Collaborate with DBA teams on capacity planning, system tuning, and database upgrade roadmaps.
• Ensure data integrity, normalization, and adherence to data management best practices.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in relational databases.
• Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and strong SQL background.
• Experience with Cassandra, CQL, and DataStax tools.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate replication technology.
• Experience working with large, replicated databases.
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile development models.
• Proven ability to manage data quality and optimal database performance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills within a distributed, multi-time zone team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IBM DataStage.
