Description

Manage and maintain Oracle database environments across test, development, and production stages.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain databases for all environment tiers.
• Analyze, test, and implement physical database designs.
• Monitor data integrity, recovery processes, and space requirements through established policies.
• Perform database performance assessments and tuning.
• Document environments and manage current patch implementations.

Required Skills

• 7-9 years of experience in database administration.
• Hands-on experience with GoldenGate architecture.
• Experience working with both public and private cloud environments.
• Ability to provide technical guidance to System Administrators, Technical Managers, and Developers.
• Knowledge of physical database design and implementation.
• Experience with database patching and environment documentation.
• Proficiency in performance tuning and capacity planning.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in an evening shift (8am to 5pm EST).
