Description

You will manage and optimize core database instances to ensure performance, security, and high availability.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure database instances for optimal performance and security.
• Optimize database performance to eliminate bottlenecks and ensure smooth application execution.
• Manage database security, availability, and disaster recovery processes to prevent unauthorized access and data loss.
• Execute database migrations, including version upgrades (e.g., Oracle 13c to 19c), On-Prem to AWS Cloud transitions, and cross-platform moves.
• Apply regular patches and upgrades while maintaining detailed records of configurations, changes, and incidents.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in database administration.
• Proficiency with Oracle and SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services.
• Experience with MySQL and ETL processes.
• Ability to perform complex data migrations and version upgrades.
• Experience with database security hardening and patching.
• Any Graduate degree.
