Description

You manage Oracle database environments and lead migrations from on-premises infrastructure to the cloud.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute installation, configuration, and upgrades of Oracle server software (version 12c and above).
• Plan and execute migrations and transformations from on-premises environments to AWS Cloud.
• Design and size database storage structures, database objects, and capacity planning recommendations.
• Manage database patching, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities including DataGuard Real Time.
• Configure and maintain RAC, ASM, GoldenGate, and database cloning processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
• Deep expertise in Oracle 12c and above versions.
• Hands-on experience with ExaCC.
• Proven experience with AWS Cloud IaaS and PaaS.
• Strong knowledge of RAC, ASM, and GoldenGate.
• Proficiency in DataGuard Real Time and Disaster Recovery planning.
• Expertise in database patching, backup/restore, and database cloning.
• Experience with APEX and database encryption/audit solutions.
• Ability to create strategic migration documentation and sizing plans.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing new Oracle features to replace and optimize existing processes.
