Description

Manage Oracle Enterprise Database environments across physical and virtual servers in a UNIX setting. Own the full database lifecycle from design to administration.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, and administer Oracle database instances in commercial cloud environments.
• Execute regular patching, upgrades, and performance tuning for large-scale systems.
• Manage backup, recovery, and troubleshooting processes for complex projects.
• Oversee database operations on both physical and virtual servers within UNIX environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Oracle Enterprise Database.
• Proficiency with Oracle RAC, ASM, and ASO.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL and EDB/PostgreSQL.
• Strong working knowledge of UNIX environments.
• Experience managing databases on physical and virtual servers.
• Solid understanding of network, storage, server, and application technologies.
• Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience automating routine administrative tasks.
