Description

You will manage and maintain business-critical Oracle production databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and data integrity.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage Oracle RAC environments and implement complex active-active or active-passive replication solutions.
• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle GoldenGate for data replication and synchronization across heterogeneous systems.
• Own the end-to-end incident lifecycle, from initial identification through root cause analysis and resolution.
• Execute database creation, patch management, upgrades, and backup/recovery strategies using RMAN and Data Guard.
• Lead offshore DBA teams to coordinate and execute weekend maintenance activities and changes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
• Expertise in Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters).
• Advanced proficiency with Oracle GoldenGate (Extract, Replicat, Manager, and Data Pump).
• Strong knowledge of PL/SQL development and performance optimization.
• Experience with Unix Shell scripting and automation tools like Ansible.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Proven ability to perform advanced database tuning and performance troubleshooting.
• Experience managing disaster recovery, security compliance, and user permissions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Google Cloud platforms.
