Description

Manage and optimize scalable Oracle database platforms on Linux and engineered systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage Oracle internals including optimizer, statistics, partition, and physical implementation.
• Drive database performance standards, methodologies, and technical initiatives.
• Execute query performance tuning to ensure workload stability.
• Develop database supervising jobs using PL/SQL and Linux shell scripting.
• Oversee replication engineering and distributed data technologies.

Required Skills

• 7+ years experience in Oracle Database Administration and Performance Engineering.
• Expertise in Oracle RAC, PL/SQL, and SQL*Plus.
• Deep knowledge of Oracle Optimizer, statistics management, and partition management.
• Experience with Linux shell scripting and workload management.
• Proficiency with Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid control (OEM 12c).
• Experience managing databases across Linux and Windows environments.
• 1+ years experience with database performance for Postgres, Snowflake, Cassandra, MS SQL Server, or Netezza.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with distributed replication technologies such as Oracle GoldenGate or EDB Replication.
• Cloud database platform experience with AWS, Azure, or Oracle OCI.
