Description

Manage and secure large-scale Oracle database environments, with a focus on Exadata platforms and high availability. Lead the development and implementation of application databases using Oracle technologies. Perform root cause analysis on complex technical issues and optimize data storage and retrieval processes.

Responsibilities

• Implement Oracle Database Security measures, including TDE and Oracle Key Vault.
• Manage database administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain documentation for database designs, configurations, and procedures.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval to enhance system efficiency.
• Lead RCA on complex technical issues.

Required Skills

• 20+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration and Security Administration.
• Expertise in Oracle Database Administration on the Exadata platform.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC).
• Experience with GoldenGate.
• Knowledge of Transparent Data Encryption (TDE).
• Experience with DB/SQL performance tuning.
• Knowledge of ZFS filesystem.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for issue resolution.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with ZDLRA Appliance for backups.
• Understanding of geospatial concepts and GIS software.
