Description

You will manage Oracle database environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across on-premise and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and maintain database structures with strict security protocols and user access controls.
• Perform performance tuning for SQL queries and database processes to support application teams.
• Manage database backups, recovery, and health checks using RMAN and monitor system limits.
• Guide the team on Oracle PL/SQL best practices and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotation to monitor and resolve issues in Oracle environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
• Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, including DDL, DCL, and DML.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, Automatic Storage Management (ASM), and GoldenGate.
• Proven ability to fine-tune SQL queries for optimal application performance.
• Experience setting up autonomous database backups and maintaining security protocols.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or computer science.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or other cloud platforms.
