Description

Manage and optimize Oracle database environments across hybrid infrastructures. Install, manage, and upgrade Oracle 11g, 12c, and 19c databases on Exadata and ODA systems. Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, database errors, and connectivity issues. Implement and maintain backup and recovery procedures to prevent data loss. Execute database migrations from on-premises environments to AWS Cloud and from Amazon EC2 to Amazon RDS. Manage GoldenGate replication between Oracle 19c and SQL Server, including version upgrades from 12.2 to 19. Perform query optimization and tuning using Explain Plan, TKProf, SAR, TOP, SQLProfile, SQLPLANMGMT, and TOAD. Plan and implement software patches, upgrades, and OS-level Huge Pages configurations.

Responsibilities

• Manage Oracle 11g, 12c, and 19c databases on Exadata and ODA systems.
• Execute database migrations to AWS Cloud, Amazon EC2, and Amazon RDS.
• Perform SQL query tuning and execution plan migration using TOAD and native tools.
• Implement backup, recovery, and GoldenGate replication to SQL Server and MariaDB.
• Plan and implement software patches, upgrades, and capacity planning.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
• Proficiency with Oracle 11g, 12c, and 19c on Exadata and ODA.
• Hands-on expertise with Linux, Sun Solaris, IBM AIX, HP Unix, and Windows.
• Experience with AWS Cloud, including Amazon EC2, Amazon RDS, and AWS DMS.
• Strong knowledge of GoldenGate replication and data replication to SQL Server.
• Ability to perform SQL query tuning and execution plan migration.
• Experience with capacity planning for organizational databases.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS DMS for database migration tasks.
