Description

Manage and support large-scale Oracle database environments as an Infrastructure Engineer.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Administer multi-terabyte, 24x7 uptime Oracle databases in Linux environments.
• Execute database architecture, performance tuning, and diagnostic tasks at both SQL and system levels.
• Implement and support advanced database management systems, including RAC, ASM, and Active Data Guard.
• Manage data replication using Golden Gate and perform backup and recovery via RMAN.
• Lead migrations to public cloud environments such as AWS.

Required Skills

• 7 to 10 years of Oracle DBA experience.
• Proficiency with Oracle versions 11gR1/2, 12c, and 19c.
• Expertise in Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Automatic Storage Management (ASM).
• Experience with Active Data Guard, Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), and Golden Gate.
• Strong RMAN backup and recovery skills.
• Scripting proficiency in Python, Perl, PL/SQL, and UNIX Shell.
• Advanced knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and network administration.
• Proven performance tuning and diagnostic capabilities.
• Experience with AWS public cloud migrations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microservices.
