Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle database software, ensuring performance, security, and data integrity.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database software to meet organizational requirements.
• Monitor database performance, implement optimizations, and resolve database-related issues.
• Develop, maintain, and test backup and recovery procedures to ensure data availability.
• Implement security measures, conduct regular security audits, and ensure data privacy compliance.
• Document configurations, generate health reports, and provide technical support.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle database software installation and maintenance.
• Proficiency in Linux environments and basic system administration.
• Knowledge of shell scripting for automation and administration tasks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex issues.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with database performance tuning, replication, and high availability solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud database services.
• Oracle certifications or relevant professional training.
