Description

You will manage Oracle database infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across production environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Optimize SQL queries and analyze execution plans to resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Create and maintain database objects such as tables, indexes, and sequences.
• Monitor database health using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and tune Oracle objects.
• Perform performance tuning at both database and application levels.
• Manage RAC, Data Guard, ASM, security, and patching operations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC).
• Expertise in Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring.
• Hands-on experience with RMAN Backup & Recovery.
• Deep understanding of Automatic Workload Repository (AWR), Active Session History (ASH), and Oracle hints.
• Experience with GoldenGate and Exadata support.
• Strong knowledge of source control and release management tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues efficiently.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Shareplex and database migration/upgrade projects.
• Proficiency in Linux and Shell Scripting.
• Familiarity with other database systems such as Postgres or MongoDB.
