Description

You will manage, optimize, and secure Oracle database environments across development through production stages.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Oracle database environments across development, test, QA, and production stages.
• Evaluate Oracle patch releases, manage deployment timelines, and own change management for production deployments.
• Implement and support high availability architectures including Data Guard, RAC, and hot standby databases.
• Provide 24x7 rotational on-call support, performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and preventative actions.
• Perform database and PL/SQL optimization, including performance tuning, query optimization, and nightly ETL processing.

Required Skills

• Over 6 years of experience with Oracle Database 10g, 11g, and/or 12c.
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL design, development, tuning, and debugging.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Data Guard.
• Experience with database backups using RMAN and RMAN Catalog.
• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux Shell Scripting.
• Experience using OEM Grid Control, Emrep, and OMS.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with Oracle Security Administration.

Preferred Skills

• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) status.
• Experience supporting Oracle RAC environments and ASM.
• Knowledge of security compliance including Encryption, Audit, PCI, GLBA, or SOX.
