Description

You will lead complex Oracle database migrations and manage end-to-end database lifecycles across on-premise and cloud environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute database migrations, including upgrades and platform transitions from Linux and AIX to OCI or Azure.
• Use Oracle tools such as Data Pump, RMAN, and Data Guard for data transfer and replication.
• Optimize database performance to ensure high availability and minimal downtime during and after migrations.
• Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software while maintaining data security and integrity.
• Support disaster recovery initiatives, including failover planning, testing, and incident troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
• Expertise in Oracle database architecture and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and AIX platforms.
• Proven experience with cloud transitions to OCI and Azure.
• Proficiency with RMAN and Data Guard.
• Experience managing database upgrades and platform migrations.
• Ability to implement access controls and encryption for data security.
