Description

Lead a team of 10+ engineers in a hands-on role managing critical Oracle database environments across rotational shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical database servers.
• Oversee database provisioning, de-provisioning, refreshes, restores, patching, migrations, replication, and upgrades.
• Execute monitoring, backup/recovery management, and high availability/disaster recovery strategies.
• Document technical solutions and provide training to operational teams.
• Lead incident, problem, and change management processes.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in database administration, operations, and production support.
• Expertise in Oracle database performance tuning and issue resolution.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible and Python for automation.
• Proficiency with ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
• Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform.
