Description

You will lead the administration, configuration, and optimization of Oracle database environments.

Manage high-severity incidents and conduct root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Execute database migrations, installations, upgrades, and patching for Oracle 12c, 18c, and 19c.
• Perform performance analysis and tuning using AWR and ADDM to maintain database health.
• Implement and manage Data Guard and Real Application Clusters (RAC), including configuration and troubleshooting.
• Plan and execute backup and recovery strategies using RMAN, Flashback query, and Flash Recovery Features.
• Utilize OEM monitoring tools for proactive system oversight.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Oracle Database administration.
• Expertise in Oracle 12c, 18c, and 19c environments.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Kernel Parameter tuning and performance optimization.
• Proficiency with Database Cloning and Automatic Storage Management (ASM).
• Experience with Data Pump, Export, and Import utilities.
• Deep understanding of Cross-platform transportable Tablespaces.
• Knowledge of Oracle Exadata features including Flash Cache, Storage Index, HCC, and IORM.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in DevOps or Agile environments.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS.
