Description

You will manage the full lifecycle of database projects from inception through implementation.

Responsibilities

• Execute project plans to deliver database solutions on schedule and within budget.
• Manage incident-related tickets and perform routine maintenance duties.
• Drive process improvement and automation initiatives for client database services.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support production systems.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on administration experience with Oracle 11g and Oracle 12c.
• 3+ years of experience in Oracle Database Server Software Provisioning, including installation and configuration on Unix and Windows platforms.
• 3+ years of experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming.
• 2+ years of experience with OEM Cloud Control 12c/13c, including alert/event monitoring and database/patch provisioning.
• 2+ years of experience monitoring and tuning production Oracle systems using Diagnostic and Tuning Packs.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database physical and logical implementation concepts.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Data Guard, RAC, RMAN, EUS, SQL Loader, Database Pump, and TFA.
• Familiarity with Tivoli Data Protection (TDP), TDE, and Oracle Net (SQLNET, JDBC, ODBC, OCI).
• Proficiency in Unix Shell Scripting and foundation in ITIL.
