Description

You will manage Oracle database administration services, focusing on performance tuning, replication, and cloud migrations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform application database administration including SQL code review, query tuning, and physical data modeling.
• Manage multisite databases using Oracle GoldenGate replication tools to identify, debug, and resolve issues.
• Execute database maintenance, housekeeping, installs, and upgrades while establishing operational standards.
• Collaborate with Systems Administration, Cyber Security, and Capacity Planning teams to support enterprise initiatives.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation for production support and database maintenance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Advanced SQL Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO) skills.
• Expertise in Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control (OEM 12c).
• Proven experience with Oracle GoldenGate replication and debugging.
• Proficiency in Linux environments and Linux shell scripting.
• Experience writing database monitoring jobs in PL/SQL.
• Hands-on experience with CockroachDB, SQL Server, and AWS Cloud (RDS/EC2).
• Ability to support all phases of the SDLC in an agile environment.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
