Description

You will manage and support medium to large production Oracle RAC installations in Mumbai.

You will own day-to-day support for Oracle databases in RAC and non-RAC environments, including software installation, configuration, space management, and backup/recovery. You will execute database migrations, installations, upgrades, and patching. You will troubleshoot errors and performance bottlenecks using AWR reports and OEM, handle complex recovery scenarios, and optimize performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations for Oracle RAC and non-RAC environments.
• Perform software installation, configuration, and space management.
• Execute database migrations, upgrades, and patching cycles.
• Troubleshoot performance issues using AWR reports and OEM.
• Handle complex database recovery and optimization tasks.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience managing production RAC installations.
• Deep knowledge of Oracle 12c and 19c technology.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, and Exadata.
• Proficiency in RMAN backup and recovery techniques.
• Strong experience with Oracle Data Guard and clustering.
• Experience with Oracle Grid Control and OEM.
• Proficiency in SQL, Unix/Linux, and shell scripting.
• Ability to perform database performance tuning and ASM troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL.
