Description

Manage and maintain Oracle database environments across multiple platforms, ensuring high availability and performance.

You will own the release pipeline for database migrations, installations, upgrades, and patching. Drive performance tuning and monitor system health using diagnostic tools. Configure and maintain Data-Guard, standby databases, and RAC environments. Manage database backups, validations, and disaster recovery planning. Support development teams and mentor junior database staff.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
• Deep knowledge of Oracle 12c, 18c, and 19c database creation.
• Expertise in Grid Infrastructure, Clusterware, ASM, and RAC internals.
• Hands-on experience with Active Data Guard and Data-Guard configuration.
• Proficiency with Exports, Imports, Data-pump, and RMAN.
• Experience with Golden Gate, VAULT, OEM, and Exadata.
• Strong skills in Unix, Linux, and Windows environments.
• Competency in shell scripting and SQL/PL-SQL basics.
• Proven ability to manage SRs with Oracle Corporation technical support.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in customer-facing roles such as consultant or solutions engineer.
• Ability to deliver technical presentations and demonstrations.
