Manage and maintain Oracle database infrastructure for a long-term contract role in Nashville, TN.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and patch Oracle database infrastructure and Grid control servers.
• Tune database performance and perform server maintenance to ensure stability.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors to maintain system uptime.
• Control database security, manage user access, and ensure adherence to standards.
• Develop automation scripts for repetitive database tasks.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Oracle database administration.
• Proven expertise in managing Oracle database servers.
• Hands-on experience with database installation, upgrades, and patching.
• Deep understanding of database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Experience managing database security and user access controls.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.
• Ability to provide on-call support as needed.

Preferred Skills
