Description

Manage Oracle database infrastructure across production environments, ensuring high availability and performance. You will own the full lifecycle of database systems, from installation and configuration to migration and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Administer Oracle databases (11g, 12c, 19c) in standalone and clustered environments.
• Optimize performance, capacity, and availability using advanced tuning techniques.
• Implement and maintain backup/recovery strategies with RMAN, CommVault, and NetApp.
• Design and support disaster recovery processes and high-availability solutions.
• Automate operations using Shell scripts and participate in incident response and root cause analysis.

Required Skills

• 4–7+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in production.
• Expertise in Oracle 11g, 12c, and 19c administration.
• Strong proficiency in performance tuning and Data Guard.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate replication.
• Proficiency in Shell scripting and automation.
• Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation.
• Ability to troubleshoot mission-critical database issues.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PostgreSQL administration.
• Knowledge of Perl scripting.
• Familiarity with hybrid environments (on-premise + cloud).
