Description

You manage and maintain large-scale Oracle database environments in critical production settings.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot database instances, replication, backup, partitions, and storage.
• Monitor and optimize system performance using index tuning and disk optimization.
• Manage user privileges and access control within the database environment.
• Maintain database availability through Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• 4+ years of Oracle 9i, 10g, or 11g experience in production environments with large databases.
• Expert knowledge of Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and Oracle Clusterware.
• Strong experience with Oracle GoldenGate.
• Advanced SQL tuning and performance optimization skills.
• Expert-level knowledge of UNIX, specifically Solaris and Linux.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing critical production environments with large-scale data sets.
