Description

Manage and maintain Oracle and PostgreSQL database environments, including deployment on Amazon RDS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and manage PostgreSQL and Oracle database instances.
• Deploy, configure, and manage PostgreSQL instances on Amazon RDS.
• Handle backup and recovery operations to ensure data integrity.
• Monitor and optimize database performance for stability.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in database administration.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL administration and tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon AWS-RDS.
• Background in Oracle DBA tasks.
• Proficiency with Python for automation or scripting.
• Experience using Splunk for monitoring and log analysis.
• Experience with MongoDB.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with multi-engine database environments (Oracle and PostgreSQL).
