Description

You will manage Oracle database systems to maximize performance and efficiency.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain Oracle database software, storage structures, and high-level security features.
• Perform physical database design, including the creation of tables and indexes.
• Monitor, optimize, and plan for system storage and capacity needs.
• Create autonomous database backups, recovery systems, and scripts for development and production environments.
• Debug malfunctioning programs to maintain database integrity and perform ETL processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle database management and Exadata.
• Expertise in development DBA tasks, including physical design of tables and indexes.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Proven experience with database backup procedures and recovery systems.
• Knowledge of Oracle database design, coding, and documentation.
• Experience with DBA front-end and back-end tools.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
