Description

You will manage and maintain Oracle Enterprise Databases within a Linux environment on virtual servers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full database lifecycle including design, installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.
• Execute performance tuning for transactional and analytical workloads.
• Handle backup and recovery operations using RMAN and Veritas Netbackup.
• Troubleshoot complex database and operating system issues.
• Automate tasks through PL/SQL and Bash shell scripting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Oracle Enterprise Database in Linux environments.
• Proficiency with Oracle 19c, including Multitenant and Container Databases.
• Hands-on experience with Real Application Cluster (RAC) and Grid Infrastructure.
• Expertise in Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM) and ACFS.
• Knowledge of DataGuard, Transparent Data Encryption (TDE), and Oracle Net.
• Experience with Oracle Data Pump and Oracle Database Auditing.
• Strong background in RMAN backup and recovery.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL and Bash shell scripting on Oracle Enterprise Linux.
• Solid SQL skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MySQL and EDB PostgreSQL.
