Description

You will operate as a Subject Matter Expert for Oracle databases, providing technical support and managing database infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, tune, implement, and upgrade DBMS installations.
• Write and deploy SQL patches and maintain database programs.
• Monitor databases and related systems to ensure high functionality and production uptime.
• Troubleshoot platform-specific performance issues and debug database scripts.
• Proactively recommend system improvements and collate statistical data.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.
• Expertise in Oracle installation, upgrade, and patching (RAC, Data-Guard, RMAN, OEM, ASM, Partitioning).
• Hands-on experience with database replication setup, troubleshooting, and failovers (Goldengate or HVR).
• Proficiency in Linux environments.
• Strong skills in automation using Shell-script, Python, and Ansible.
• Expertise in performance analysis, query monitoring, and platform tuning.
• Experience with SQL, schema creation, and deployment.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery setup and maintenance.
