Description

You will own database management, capacity planning, and maintenance for production and non-production OSS/BSS systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage database installation, configuration, design, and data migration across various systems.
• Monitor production and non-production environments, triage alerts, and perform health checks.
• Develop automation playbooks, pipelines, and scripts to streamline DBA routines.
• Deploy database and application releases, patches, and configurations.
• Perform backup and recovery operations, including participation in 24x7 on-call emergency support.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience with RDBMS (Oracle DB or PostgreSQL) in highly available configurations.
• Supporting large-scale, mission-critical 7x24 solutions.
• Proficiency in Linux administration, including resource allocation and system configuration.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
• Understanding of Continuous Delivery and DevOps methodologies.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex performance and stability issues.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, routing, and network traffic balancing principles.
• Fluent oral and written communication in English.
