Description

You will manage, optimize, and secure Oracle and SQL Server database environments to ensure high availability and performance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and patch database instances for optimal performance and security.
• Optimize database performance to prevent application bottlenecks.
• Implement security measures to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.
• Manage high availability and disaster recovery, including migrations from On-Prem to AWS Cloud and cross-platform moves (SQL Server to MySQL).
• Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, changes, and incidents for compliance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in database administration.
• Expertise in Oracle database management, specifically migrations from Oracle 13c to 19c.
• Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services.
• Experience with ETL processes and integrating databases with third-party APIs.
• Proven track record of cross-platform data migrations.
• Any Graduate degree.
