Description

You will manage and optimize Oracle database environments across multi-cloud infrastructures. You will execute database upgrades to 19c and applications to R12.2.10, while administering Oracle WebLogic Server and integrating with third-party applications. You will maintain high availability using Active Data Guard and GoldenGate, and automate cloning processes via Unix shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Execute Oracle Database upgrades to 19c and Oracle Applications upgrades to R12.2.10 and beyond.
• Manage Oracle workloads and applications across Oracle OCI, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon AWS.
• Perform DB patching, including CPU and PSU patches, and manage Exadata and RAC environments.
• Automate Oracle DB and application cloning using Unix shell scripting and other scripting tools.
• Maintain database availability using Oracle 19c Active Data Guard and Oracle GoldenGate.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Oracle Database administration.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, RMAN, Data Guard, and Enterprise Manager.
• Proficiency in Unix shell scripting for automation, debugging, and scheduling.
• Experience managing Oracle workloads on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Azure, and AWS.
• Technical knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware (FMW) and WebLogic Server.
• Competency with Oracle GRID and security/identity management within FMW.
• Experience using Jira and ServiceNow for task and incident management.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
