Description

You will administer and support distributed Oracle DBMS, Exadata, and Cloud environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build, implement, configure, manage, and tune PostgreSQL 11+ databases on Redhat Linux.
• Support PostgreSQL databases across the full development and production lifecycle with operations teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical incidents related to PostgreSQL databases.
• Provide technical advice and act in a lead capacity for system planning, performance, and release management.
• Administer distributed Oracle DBMS, Exadata, and Cloud environments.

Required Skills

• Minimum 8 years of DBA experience building and administering distributed Oracle DBMS.
• Expert level knowledge of user access management and database privileges.
• Solid hands-on experience managing and supporting Oracle Exadata Appliance.
• Proficiency with Oracle Cloud deployment on Exadata platforms in large enterprises.
• Expert level knowledge of database auditing and audit logging.
• Experience with Python, Perl, and UNIX shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with database security and encryption implementation.
• Sound knowledge of Oracle DataGuard and Oracle GoldenGate Replication.
• Familiarity with compliance requirements (SOX, PCI DSS, FISMA).
