Description

You will manage Oracle database environments, focusing on development, administration, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Manage database installation, upgrades, migrations, and change management processes.
• Perform performance tuning at both the database and OS levels.
• Execute database backup and recovery using RMAN and manage database refreshes.
• Implement and maintain database security by managing users, roles, and privileges.
• Provide technical troubleshooting and consultation to development teams.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience as a DBA and Developer.
• Extensive PL/SQL programming and development expertise.
• Advanced Unix Shell Scripting skills.
• Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in Data Modeling and physical database design.
• Experience with Oracle versions 8.x, 9.x, 10.x, or newer.
• System administration experience across Solaris, Unix, Linux, and Windows.
• Hands-on experience fixing ORA-errors and managing database security.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Oracle DBA Certification.
• Experience with reporting tools such as Discoverer, Focus, or Crystal Reports.
