Description

You will manage and maintain Oracle and MongoDB database environments, ensuring high availability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle 12c/19c RAC software and databases on Exadata machines.
• Manage Oracle GoldenGate 11.x and 12c installations, including unidirectional and bidirectional replication for reporting environments.
• Deploy and maintain MongoDB standalone and replica set configurations across community and enterprise versions.
• Execute database backups, cloning via RMAN active duplication, and restores to support development and production needs.
• Monitor and fine-tune large databases using OEM and custom shell scripting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Expertise in Oracle RAC, Clusters, and DataGuard (physical and logical standby).
• Hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate 11.x and 12c.
• Proficiency with MongoDB deployments, including failover, switchover, and tuning.
• Advanced knowledge of RMAN for backup, recovery, and cloning.
• Experience with Mongodump/restore and Ops Manager.
• Competency in using OEM for database monitoring.
• Ability to write shell scripts for backup status monitoring and automation.
• Experience managing database upgrades from 11g/12c to 19c R2.

Preferred Skills

• Experience providing 24x7 operational support, including security management, patching, incident management, and on-call availability.
