Description

This DBA role focuses on designing, administering, and supporting enterprise-grade database replication platforms with Oracle GoldenGate at the core. The position is centered on Change Data Capture (CDC), data replication, and data streaming, requiring deep expertise in GoldenGate Microservices rather than simply using the tool. The engineer will build and deploy cloud-based database solutions across AWS and Azure, automate infrastructure using Terraform or OpenTofu, support CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, troubleshoot complex database issues, and mentor other engineers while helping evolve the organization's modern data platform.

Candidates should have 10+ years of Oracle database experience with expert-level Oracle GoldenGate administration and replication knowledge, including designing, deploying, and managing GoldenGate environments. Strong DBA skills, experience with CDC and data replication technologies, AWS and Azure cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/OpenTofu), scripting, and CI/CD are required. Experience with PostgreSQL, YugabyteDB, or other modern databases is beneficial, with YugabyteDB and 5+ years of PostgreSQL experience considered strong pluses. Cloud certifications in AWS, Azure, and Oracle GoldenGate are also desirable.
