Description

You will manage and administer Oracle databases specifically supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environments. You own the stability, performance, and availability of these critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Administer Oracle databases for EBS applications, executing regular patching and upgrades to minimize downtime.
• Execute database backups and recovery operations using RMAN to ensure disaster recovery readiness.
• Optimize SQL performance and manage indexes to maintain application efficiency.
• Support high-availability configurations using Oracle RAC and ASM.
• Troubleshoot complex database issues and maintain detailed documentation of configurations and procedures.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
• Deep expertise in managing Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environments and architecture.
• Extensive experience with RMAN for backup, restore, and disaster recovery.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM).
• Strong SQL performance tuning and query optimization skills.
• Proficiency in writing PL/SQL scripts for automation and maintenance.
• Proven experience performing database and EBS upgrades and patching.
• Strong understanding of database security practices and compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification.
• Experience with Oracle Exadata environments.
• Familiarity with cloud-based Oracle database services.
