Description

You will manage and maintain Oracle database environments on Linux systems. You will own the full lifecycle of database operations, from installation to optimization.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database software and manage databases based on organizational needs.
• Monitor database performance and implement necessary optimizations to ensure stability.
• Implement security measures, ensure data privacy compliance, and conduct regular vulnerability audits.
• Develop, maintain, and test database backup and recovery procedures.
• Resolve database-related issues, document configurations, and generate health reports.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
• Proficiency with Linux environments and basic system administration tasks.
• Experience with shell scripting for automation and maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for troubleshooting.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical support.
