Description

You design, develop, and support Oracle OPEN Link interfaces within Oracle Millennium healthcare environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain HL7 v2.x interfaces (ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, DFT, MDM, MFN).
• Configure OPEN Link routes, transformations, mappings, code sets, and communication protocols.
• Analyze interface specifications and translate business requirements into technical integration solutions.
• Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning for interface failures and data integrity issues.
• Collaborate with Oracle Millennium application teams and support production incident resolution.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of healthcare integration experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Oracle OPEN Link architectural design, configuration, and development.
• Strong knowledge of HL7 v2.x standards and healthcare interoperability workflows.
• Experience with ADT, Orders, Results, Scheduling, Documents, and Medications integrations.
• Proficiency with MLLP, TCP/IP, SFTP, Web Services, REST/SOAP, and APIs.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
• Experience with interface validation, message tracing, and ACK/NACK workflows.
• Familiarity with Oracle Millennium architecture and clinical workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle Millennium Pathnet, OPEN Engine, or additional engines like Rhapsody/Mirth.
• Knowledge of FHIR, CCD/C-CDA, X12, or behavioral health EHR environments.
• ITIL or healthcare integration certifications.
