Description

You will build and maintain data processing applications using Python and PySpark, with a focus on Oracle database development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python/PySpark applications for large-scale data processing and transformation.
• Design and implement efficient data pipelines using PySpark on distributed computing platforms.
• Write optimized SQL queries and stored procedures to interact with Oracle databases.
• Automate data workflows using scheduling tools like Autosys.
• Participate in Agile development processes using JIRA.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on Python development experience focused on data processing.
• 2+ years of experience using PySpark for large-scale data processing.
• 2+ years of Oracle development experience, including performance tuning.
• 2+ years of experience with RDBMS, specifically Oracle and MS SQL Server.
• 2+ years of experience with scheduling tools such as Autosys.
• Familiarity with GitHub deployment processes and code versioning.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies and using JIRA.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
