Description

Manage and develop Oracle database systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of database software and components.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database software and related components.
• Manage database storage, including Automatic Storage Management (ASM).
• Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies using tools like RMAN.
• Monitor database activity and performance, and troubleshoot issues.
• Develop and optimize SQL and PL/SQL code for data manipulation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in database management.
• Expert proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience managing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Knowledge of Oracle database security, including access control and data encryption.
• Ability to create and manage database triggers, stored procedures, and functions.
• Experience with database backup and recovery strategies (e.g., RMAN).
• Familiarity with database performance monitoring and tuning.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with designing and implementing database schemas, tables, and objects.
