Description

You will design, develop, and tune the ICE Bonds Database, owning the full lifecycle from analysis to production support.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PL/SQL and SQL solutions for complex business requirements.
• Perform database administrative tasks to ensure stability in production environments.
• Analyze and optimize query performance using execution plans and tuning tools.
• Translate business functional requirements into technical scope and implementation plans.
• Provide technical support for QA and development environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Oracle database development.
• Deep expertise in PL/SQL, including triggers, packages, functions, and procedures.
• Proficiency in SQL query tuning and understanding of query plans.
• 2+ years of experience with Unix shell programming.
• Experience with Python and Perl scripting.
• Knowledge of SDLC and agile development concepts.
• Ability to troubleshoot databases in high-performance, multi-user applications.
• Strong analytical and technical documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ICE Bonds or similar financial data systems.
• Advanced performance tuning for large-scale enterprise databases.
