Description

Develop and maintain database-driven applications using Oracle technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Write PL/SQL code including triggers, functions, procedures, packages, and dynamic SQL queries.
  • Develop complex forms and reports using Oracle Forms and Reports (D2K).
  • Analyze functional requirement documents to create technical design specifications focusing on scalability and performance.
  • Perform root cause analysis on production issues to identify and resolve bugs and bottlenecks.
  • Provide 24x7 support for critical production calls on an exceptional basis.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Oracle development.
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL coding and database development.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Forms and Reports (D2K).
  • Experience with performance tuning and technical design.
  • Knowledge of Oracle APEX and basic database administration.
  • Experience with Unix Shell Scripting.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Experience using code versioning tools and Jira or similar ticketing systems.
  • Ability to work with global teams and participate in technical discussions.

Preferred Skills

  • Oracle ORDS, Web services, AJAX, and JavaScript.
  • Oracle Cloud exposure (OCI, DBAAS).
