Description

You will design and implement business applications using the Oracle Relational Database Management System.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop stored procedures, packages, triggers, and cursors using SQL and PL/SQL.
• Build materialized views to cache queries and replicate data.
• Tune Oracle RDBMS performance using Explain Plans and hints.
• Model data, manage database creation, and handle data loading and retrieval.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of programming experience as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer.
• Expertise in client-server application development using Oracle 10g, 9i, or 8i.
• Strong experience with data warehouse concepts and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in Oracle RDBMS design, including BITMAP and B-Tree indexes, views, and sequences.
• Deep knowledge of PL/SQL features: dynamic SQL, records, and exception handling.
• Expertise in SQL performance tuning using Cost-Based Optimization (CBO) and join types (Nested Loop, Hash Join).
• Experience with DDL, DML, TCL statements, and partitioning large tables.
• Proficiency in Oracle database administration tasks such as creating links, schemas, and profiles.
• Familiarity with Toad and ETL tools like Informatica.
